  1. I would love to read about Jorg’s son! Would also give us a chance to learn about the aftermath of Emperor of Thorns.

Also Sister Pan when she was young(er)!

  2. I’d want to know more about Miana! I really liked her character and I’d love to get a glimpse of Jorg from an outside point of view.

  3. Jac. Have you guys read the first five chapters of Jacob’s Ladder? Maybe you shouldn’t as it it’s the tantamount of that attractive somebody who makes your heart miss a beat on the dancefloor, beckoning you to come over, only to wake up and remember the clubs are closed and that person in question, in all likelihood, would never give you the time of day. What I’m trying to say is it’s really good but unfinished. Luckily, Dr Lawrence claims to share that desire to find out what happens to our friend Jac and will hopefully give it his all once he has finished putting the finishing touches on Yaz.

  4. I’d love to see some more of Arabella – I’m a sucker for that prim and proper killing machine, and ‘Bound’ was amazing.

That or more Jalan and Snorri – I still can’t get over how good ‘The New World’ was!

  7. Would love to have a short story that digs into the past of Sister Pan from Book of the Ancestor series. That scene in Holy Sister was the most impactful in the entire series for me and this character clearly has a fascinating past that can be explored more.

  8. Nona! There is so much potential. On the other hand, it would also be really cool to read something focused on Taproot.

  9. Too difficult! I’d love to see more of Jorg but I really want to learn more about Taproot and how he’s EVERYWHERE I love it! Also, the worlds themselves. Every time I see a connection I get too excited.

  10. Ooh, I’d have to go with Sisters Apple and Kettle or, very tentatively, Jorg (there is something to be said for stopping a character’s story before it gets stale).

  12. Nina! My friend keeps on going on about reading Red sister and learning about Nona. I will get around to it. I’m definitely intrigued 🤗

  13. I’d like a story about Justice, who was magically transported away, and becomes the guardian for some lonely kid and they go on adventures and live a long happy life together.

  14. Miana. I got a feeling that she might grow up to be a bit like Lyanna Mormont and I -really- want to know more about a girl who has to deal with Jorg day to day.

  15. Taproot is the key to everything do more information would be well received but I’m hoping we will get those answers by the end of the Boom if the Ive.
If so, I also loved the Red Queen and would be interested to know more about her back story. She’s a bad ass too.

  16. Sister Pan needs her story told. She did the seeming impossible in the best scene of the whole series. I want more!

  17. I’d love to say Snorri or Rike or The Red Queen but honestly I’d love to hear more of the ghosts in the machines, The Builders. There’s got to be more to them. Whether alive or dead, I’m intrigued. Or you know what, Snorri.

  18. I’d like to know more about Makin or Red kent. I’d like to know mote about ship hearts and how the planet got the way it is.
But that being said, I’d even read a cereal box if Mark wrote it. More of everything please.

  19. Honestly, I want to learn more about Sister Wheel. I’m curious as to how and why she believed what she believed, especially when it came to Nona. If I know, then I might hate her less than I do now.

  20. Oh my goodness, where to start… I’d definitely love to know more about Sister Pan, particularly how she learned to harness the path to allow her to stay on it for decades. Taproot is also a mysterious character who crops up in all timeframes, so a story about him would be awesome. Then there’s my favourite character ever – Prince Jalan – it would be amazing to see him crop up again somewhere. Although a back story on the Rust brothers would be interesting too. Just to try and understand the code by which their lives are governed and why that’s the case.

  21. What if The Broken Empire is reforged a few centuries in the future, and the descendants of the Ancrath Family realize their only hope in defeating a new threat to the world is dig up and out an old datacube with a certain family legend/progenitor? Jorg’s virtual Self wreaking havoc on his family’s and world’s enemies with his particularly brutal way of thinking would be amazing!
    Or something like that. Jorg!

  22. For me it would have to be Snorri in his younger years. Would love to learn where/who he got his kind of ‘off keel’ wisdom from. His brothers/family. How he became such a formidable warrior.

  23. Jalan Kendeth is my favorite character that Lawrence has written. I had many good laughs at Jalan’s expense and would love the opportunity to read more of his adventures.

  24. Hmm I loved Broken Empire so any characters within that world. I also love the little crossovers of characters between trilogies. I could also go for more Nona! I need to reread your books again soon!

  25. Nona! She’s one of the most well realized characters I’ve ever read and I could read a book about her every year for the rest of my life!

  26. I’d love to read more about Makin, probably my favourite character from the Jorg trilogy. Feels like there’s a lot of death to explore there, almost like a Punisher type character (obviously not that extreme) but you could take his stories to a lot of places
